hello loves!! I was really compelled to talk about twin flames today because I’ve noticed that, now more than ever, it’s becoming a common discussion in the witchy/new age community. there’s also been an amazing shift of energy that’s bringing soulmates, twin flames, and love into our lives!
so wtf are twin flames?!
🌙 twin flames are essentially soulmates on steroids! your connection with your twin flame will be intense, magnetic, cosmic, and magical.
🌙 soulmates and twin flames differ in that soulmates are a perfect match but twin flames are a perfect mirror. a soul mate relationship serves the purpose of teaching you a lesson in the moment while a twin flame connection acts as a catalyst for your entire journey of healing and learning.
🌙 you’ll find pieces of yourself within your twin flame and you may not always love the reflection you see! your twin flame will force you to face the parts of yourself that you’re not happy with and heal from that confrontation.
🌙 the twin flame concept isn’t a fairytale. yes it’s a beautiful and powerful connection but it’s also an ongoing process. as I said before, your twin may reflect some shit that might be hard for you to handle. you’re going to have the same difficulties you would in any other relationship!
🌙 everyone has a twin flame! BUT you may not meet them in this lifetime… this is one of the more debated ideas. some people say that only a select few are ‘blessed’ with twin flames but I don’t necessarily buy into that. i personally beleive that we all have twin flames but we only connect with them every other lifetime.
🌙 finally, soulmates and twin flames are both beautiful, enriching connections! a lot of people seem to think that the twin flame love is somehow deeper but I disagree?? at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter who you’re with as long as you’re happy, thriving, and growing!
